ArtyA Purity Tourbillon
Beauty and Purity on your wrist
For those already familiar with Yvan Arpa’s groundbreaking craftsmanship, it will come as no surprise to discover the depth of thought and innovation behind the ArtyA Purity Tourbillon.
This remarkable addition to ArtyA’s Complication features a fully transparent crystal case, designed to showcase the magic and mechanical beauty of the exclusive Double Barrel Manufacture Flying Tourbillon movement PUR-T1.

As an expression of ArtyA’s horological grammar, the Purity Tourbillon displays a technical inventiveness that combines a maverick style with visual clarity. A beautifully balanced architectural ensemble, the manually wound caliber features an over-sized flying tourbillon with a diameter of 17 mm which is at least 50% larger than most existing tourbillons.

Beating at an impressive 4 Hz, the ArtyA Purity Tourbillon delivers exceptional accuracy and enhanced stability, thanks to a significantly higher frequency than most high-end Swiss tourbillons, which typically operate at 2 or 3 Hz.
Equipped with a 72-hour power reserve, the movement is driven by two barrels mounted in parallel. These barrels supply energy to the central hour and minute functions, while the seconds are gracefully indicated by the flying tourbillon, which completes a full rotation every 60 seconds.
Mounting the barrels in parallel reduces the thickness of each mainspring, delivering more stable torque throughout the power reserve. This configuration also optimizes the shape of the barrel spring curve, striking the perfect balance between autonomy, performance, and precision.
To further enhance chronometric performance, ArtyA has chosen to equip this timepiece with a free-sprung balance with variable inertia, a hallmark of high-end watchmaking.
This sophisticated mechanism offers superior shock resistance and ensures exceptional stability during assembly and servicing, resulting in enhanced long-term timekeeping accuracy.

Entirely transparent, the sapphire crystal case has nothing to hide and everything to reveal.
This uncompromising pursuit of transparency pushes the skeletonization of the movement to its very limits, highlighting the astonishing intricacy and mechanical artistry within. Each component is meticulously hand-bevelled and polished, reflecting the highest standards of haute horlogerie.
The skeletonized bridges have undergone extensive and rigorous validation tests to ensure optimal structural integrity and durability without compromising their visual lightness.
Meditations of a Watchmaker
From the very beginning, Mr. Arpa envisioned a design that would fully harness the luminescent potential of laboratory-grown corundum a sapphire-like gem revered for both its physical properties and its spiritual resonance.
Physically, the case is virtually impervious to scratches, thanks to the extraordinary hardness of sapphire: 9 on the Mohs scale (around 1800 Vickers), making it the third hardest known mineral after diamond (10) and moissanite (9.5).
This same hardness, however, is what makes crafting a full sapphire case such a demanding and costly feat especially when it must meet the uncompromising standards set by ArtyA.
Spiritually, sapphire is more than a material; it is a radiant symbol rooted in centuries of cultural heritage.
Long considered a gem of the heavens, sapphire has been revered as a guardian of innocence, a bearer of truth, and a protector of health. Across time, it has been associated with inner peace, fulfillment, joy, and prosperity qualities mirrored in the essence of this extraordinary timepiece.

This model is also available with a NanoSaphir™ Chameleon case, an exclusive ArtyA innovation.
This crystal-clear material offers a spectacular color-shifting effect revealing one hue in daylight, and another under incandescent light. A true aesthetic feat, this natural variation transforms each timepiece into a living object, constantly evolving with its environment. Available in ultra-limited editions, NanoSaphir™ Chameleon embodies ArtyA’s avant-garde spirit where art, light, and material become one.
